Monday, 6th April 2026
2pm start
A captivating 90-minute musical journey featuring the enchanting sounds of mine harp and vocals,
delving into the music of Latin America and beyond. Each musical piece will be accompanied by engaging storytelling about the composer, the origins, significance, or my personal experiences, evoking a range of emotions during performances.
The concert will showcase a diverse selection of music genres, including Joropos from Colombia & Venezuela, Peruvian Waltz, Tango from Argentina, Boleros, Ballads & Son from Cuba, Puerto Rico, and Mexico, Saya from Bolivia, Polka and Güarania from Paraguay, tonadas from Chile, among others.
The main themes of this performance aim to introduce audiences to the rich variety of rhythms from Latin America, some of which have been previously embraced by well-known artists like Nat King Cole, Eydie Gormé & Linda Ronstadt. As Australia is a multicultural society, the concert seeks to celebrate and share the love for Latin.
